Development Opportunities

The City is proactively working to stimulate development in several key areas to help inspire development citywide.

Light Rail Station Areas

A pedestrian bridge spanning International Boulevard will link Sea-Tac International Airport and the SeaTac/Airport Station to what will be a new vibrant city center for SeaTac. This city center will feature a true mix of uses, including entertainment venues, restaurants, shops, parks and plazas, where residents and visitors will find attractive and inviting places to live, work and play.

The South 154th Street Station Area will be a vibrant, mixed-use residential neighborhood that connects people of various backgrounds. The station area will be pedestrian-oriented, visually pleasing, easily accessible and integrated with transit.

New Economic Strategic Triangle (NEST) Study

The City will monitor and encourage industrial development on Port owned parcels within SeaTac boundaries which have been identified as development opportunities in this study.
